Hi! I’m Maddie (they/them). I am a songwriter, photographer, and digital marketer based in Brooklyn, NY.

I believe that empathy and storytelling build community in both digital and physical spaces; I specialize in content development, creative strategy, and social media management for individuals, brands, and hospitality providers.

For the past decade, I have lived and worked in Brooklyn, New York, and much of my early career was spent working in the nonprofit arts sector.

In my recent experience with Trueline and MMGY Wagstaff, I led audience growth initiatives for local and small hospitality businesses. Prior, I was Brand Manager for The Marlow Collective, a hospitality group committed to sustainable, equitable practices and partnerships with local farmers.

So far this year, I have been lucky to focus on my music project, Volena. Our first EP was released on April 4 via Nothing to Exist Records! In December 2024, I was also an inaugural cohort in Mendocino Art Center’s Greenhouse Residency.

I also love spinning records around Brooklyn, cooking, dancing with friends, and hanging out with my dog, Mildred.
